February 2016: The Rancho Santa Fe Community Centre hosted it “Put Your Hearts on the Table” poker tournament for the fourth consecutive year. The venue was the Rancho Santa Fe Garden Club. The community center, based in Santa Fe, California, is a non-profit organization that provides after-school care for children of the local families, hosts sports leagues and various events for the neighborhood. It has been doing this community work for the past 40 years.
All the proceeds from the poker tournament will help the community center carry on its work. Apart from living poker, the event also had Bingo, live jazz music, a hosted bar, raffles, and some tasty snacks. The sponsors for the event were the Kleege and Fried families and the Naiman Group.
Linda Durket, executive director center said, “This is always such a fun night and we’re so thankful to all who participated and helped raise important funds for the center. I’d like to especially thank our sponsors and the Kleege Family for generously hosting the tournament at their beautiful Garden Club.”
