Two cards should be of the same rank. Pair of Ace is considered as the highest pair. But, if there are 2 to 3 players having same pair, then the winner is decided on the basis of the highest of three remaining cards.
Two Pair
A poker hand that contains two cards with same rank, and two cards with other rank is Two Pair Poker hand. If two or more players are having the same two pair, then the fifth card decides the winner.

This means three cards of the same rank, for example – three Aces. As mentioned previously, if 2 or more players have the same kind of cards, then winners are decided by the two remaining cards.
Straight
A straight has five sequential card ranks. A straight can beat three of a kind. Two straights having same high card are considered of equal value. Remember, suits are not used to separate them.
Flush
In flush, all cards belong to the same suit. If two or more players share a same flush, then the highest ranking of each card is compared to decide the winner.
Full House
A full house is a poker combination of two hands with same three cards. Here, the hand of best three of a kind, wins. If two players have same cards, then the player having best pair, wins.
Four of a Kind
Also known as ‘Quads’; four of a kind contains all four cards of 1 rank, plus other card. Here, cards with low rank defeat the high rank cards. In Texas Hold’em, it is quite possible that two of more players have same Quad. In this example, the unmatched/different card is a kicker.
Royal Straight Flush
In straight flush hand, there are five cards in a sequence of same suit. The aces can be either high or low. An ace-high straight flush is considered as Royal Flush. This is a standard poker hand.
