February 2016: King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic will see the commencement of the sixth season of the Eureka Poker Tour from March 2nd to 8th. This is the third time the Eureka Poker Tour will be held at King’s Casino, and the fourth time overall at Rozvadov.
There will be 22 poker events in the entire festival, and the guaranteed prize pools are more than €1.5 million. The Main Event has a guarantee of €500,000. This impressive figure is sure to see a lot of takers for the tournament.
Some of the high stakes events include the €2,200 High Roller, the King’s Casino €5,300 Super High Roller and the €330 Rozvadov Cup, which has a guarantee of €100,000. Other events include the €70 King’s Local Championship with a €15,000 guaranteed prize pool and the €60 Eureka Locals NL Hold’em Deepstack EPT Edition with a €7,000 guarantee.
There will also be ring games of various stakes running for 24 hours a day. This year’s Eureka Poker Tour is touted to break last year’s record of 644 players. Last year, Austrian Raphael Wimmer emerged winner with €99,685 in winnings.
