Two Indian Players Cash Out in APT Championships Philippines 2017

The main event of The APT Championships Philippines 2017 held at Resorts World Manila proceeded with its third day with the major objective of taking it to an 8-handed final table. The tournament continued for eight long hours, and Asakura Yasuyuki hailing from Japan dominated other players with 2.14M in chips.

Though three players from India reached the third day action, none of them was able to make it to the top 8. While Imran Khan, the former DPT Main Event champion, received $3,430 for securing 26th position, Avinit Bagri grabbed $2,570 for making it to the 29th position. In spite of a valiant effort, the third Indian participant named Rohit Begwani failed cash out in the tournament.
